Even if a good architectural photo is made at the time of shooting, photo retouching is most often essential. In terms of architecture, this is not limited to a simple development treatment; most often it includes a "cleaning" of the image to remove unwanted elements, impossible to avoid when taking the picture, or to correct defects in appearance. Some photographs also require the assembly of several images to reveal a particular aspect of the work.
